Big green forestry muscle, brick-built — this John Deere Skidder’s not here to trim the hedges.

The LEGO® Technic John Deere 948L II Skidder is a 2023 retail set based on one of John Deere’s heavy-duty forestry machines.

You get a mechanical build with steering, 4-wheel drive and a moving engine, plus pneumatic functions for the claw, blade and rotating seat. The claw has three different actions, giving the model plenty of machine-room faff in the best possible way.

Set 42157-1 has 1,492 pieces and is recommended for ages 11+.
