KUSO OISHII

Know what you’re getting

Five grades.
No guesswork.

A box can be battered while the bricks inside are untouched. Our grading scale gives you the starting point. The individual listing gives you the detail.

Kuso grade 1

Gold Standard

The top of the pile.

Sets
Factory-sealed sets with mint or near-mint boxes. Minor shelf wear may still be present.
Minifigs
Complete minifigs in excellent condition, with all accessories.

Kuso grade 2

Silver Lining

A little less pristine. Still plenty to love.

Sets
Sealed and complete, with cosmetic issues to the box.
Minifigs
A small accessory may be missing. Check the listing for the specific omission.

Kuso grade 3

Bronze Age

A past life, with the contents accounted for.

Sets
An opened or worn box, with the contents accounted for.
Minifigs
Signs of play wear, with the minifig and its contents accounted for.

Kuso grade 4

Black Sheep

The exceptions need spelling out.

Sets
Opened or built sets that may be missing minifigs, instructions or other extras.
Minifigs
Key minifig parts may be missing. The individual listing should specify what is present and what is absent.

Kuso grade 5

Red Card

A project, with its cards on the table.

Sets
Incomplete, heavily worn, boxless, partly built or otherwise compromised stock. Read the exact disclosure before choosing.
Minifigs
Compromised or incomplete stock. The listing’s specific contents and condition take priority over the grade alone.

Always read the product description and look at the photos. A grade is a guide to condition, not a substitute for the item’s contents, completeness or individual notes.
